I admire traditional crafts like woving, chrocheting, embroidery...it can be used in fashion in very interesting way.
When I was a little girl, my mom used to make Gobelins tapestries. It's an art of embroidery and it was a very popular hobby back in the '80s. Gobelin is the name of the family of dyers, who had their own factory called Gobelins Manufactory. It is best known as a royal factory supplying the court of the French monarchs since Louis XIV. They established this kind of art.
I was amazed when I found this vintage bag online. It simply had to be mine. The front of the bag is the tapestry with beautiful roses and the rest is made of leather. I just put the black chain instead of leather handle and now I own the one of a kind bag. I'm very happy with it.
